Whilst not an exhaustive list the below questions can help guide you in reviewing or setting up your organisation’s workplace adjustment program.

At what timepoints and channels does your company promote workplace adjustments?
Does your request process effectively manage the sensitivity and confidentiality when a person chooses to share their needs?
Are adjustment plans an ongoing conversation? Once in place do they get reviewed periodically?
Does your approach cover off all workplace adjustment needs? (an adjustment can be for reasons other than disability)
Do you provide alternative avenues and methods for people to request an adjustment?
How long does it take from request to review and implementation?
Is information security maintained?
Do you review people’s adjustment experiences and consult with your resource groups and network?
Does the process effectively engage and link in with relevant teams (i.e. Recruitment, Work Health and Safety, Return-to-Work, Facilities, Disability and Inclusion)
Are all levels of the business aware, onboard and championing its role in building a culture of inclusion.
